8.00 am mee­ting point school - les­sons on Sa­tur­day? No, 2 school am­bas­sa­dor child­ren and 3 teachers tra­vel to Po­land for the last pro­ject mee­ting.

Der Flug über und durch die Wol­ken nach Po­sen dau­ert nur ei­ne Stun­de. Auf dem klei­nen Flug­ha­fen tau­schen wir noch schnell ein paar Eu­ros in die pol­ni­sche Zlo­tys und wer­den herz­lich von un­se­rer pol­ni­schen Kol­le­gin Pa­trycia und Gast­ma­ma Ly­dia mit den Gast­ge­schwis­tern Zo­fia und Os­kar emp­fan­gen.

The flight over and through the clouds to Poz­nan takes on­ly an hour. At the small air­port we change a few eu­ros in the Pol­ish zloties and are warm­ly wel­comed by our Pol­ish col­league Pa­trycia and guest mum Ly­dia with the host sib­lings Zofia and Os­kar.

Mu­tig zie­hen die Mäd­chen mit ih­rer pol­ni­schen Fa­mi­lie los in ein auf­re­gen­des Wo­chen­en­de. Wir Leh­re­rin­nen er­kun­den die wun­der­schö­ne Alt­stadt mit den be­mal­ten Häu­ser­fas­sa­den und sind fas­zi­niert vom bun­ten Trei­ben auf dem al­ten Markt­platz.

The girls coura­geous­ly move on with their Pol­ish fam­i­ly to an ex­cit­ing week­end. We teach­ers ex­plore the beau­ti­ful old town with the paint­ed fa­cades and are fas­ci­nat­ed by the hus­tle and bus­tle on the old mar­ket place.
