Kapitel 2: Erster Erfolg

Drop­py und Drop­po lan­den in Spa­ni­en. Nach ei­nem kur­zen Ni­cker­chen be­schlie­ßen sie, Sight­see­ing zu ma­chen. Sie wäh­len ei­nen be­rühm­ten spa­ni­schen Turm in Va­len­cia.

„Das ist ein schö­ner Ort, nicht wahr?” - sagt Drop­py.

„Ja, hier ist es wirk­lich toll!”

Drop­py und Drop­po ge­hen und er­kun­den den Turm. Nach ei­ner Wei­le tref­fen sie auf ei­ne Da­me, die in ei­nem tra­di­tio­nel­len Kos­tüm ge­klei­det ist und die ei­ne Kro­ne trägt.

Es stellt sich her­aus, dass sie eine Rei­se­lei­te­rin ist.

Chapter 2: First Success

Droppy and Droppo land in Spain. After a short nap, they de­cide to go sight­see­ing. They choose to vis­it a fam­ous Span­ish tower in Valen­cia.

“This is a beau­ti­ful place, don’t you think?” – says Droppy.

“Yes, it is really amaz­ing!”

Droppy and Droppo go and ex­plore the tower. After a while they meet a lady dressed in a tra­di­tion­al cos­tume wear­ing a crown.

It turns out that she is a tour guide.

„Wisst ihr, dass der Ser­ra­no-Turm im Mit­tel­al­ter sehr wich­tig war, um die Stadt zu ver­tei­di­gen? Und er war auch ein Tor in die Stadt, wo die Kö­ni­ge herz­lich emp­fan­gen wur­den” - er­klärt die Da­me.

„Oh! Das ist in­ter­es­sant!” - sagt Drop­py.

„Kön­nen wir hin­auf stei­gen und uns das Pan­ora­ma der Stadt an­se­hen?”  - fragt Drop­po.

„Ja, das könnt ihr!” - ant­wor­tet die Da­me.

Sie ge­hen bis zur Turm­spit­ze hin­auf.

„Wow! Was für ei­ne atem­be­rau­ben­de Aus­sicht!” - sagt Drop­py.

„Ja, du hast recht.” - stimmt Drop­po zu.

“Do you know that Ser­rano Tower was very im­port­ant in me­di­ev­al times? It used to de­fend the city. This was also a gate to the city where kings were warmly wel­comed.” - ex­plains the lady.

“Oh! That’s in­ter­est­ing!” - says Droppy.

“Can we go up and see the pan­or­ama of the city?” - asks Droppo.

“Yes, you can.” - an­swers the lady.

They go to the top of the tower.

“Wow! What a breath­tak­ing view!” - says Droppy.

“Yes, you’re right.” - Droppy agrees.

Plötz­lich er­hält Drop­py ei­ne SMS. Es ist von dem ge­hei­men Freund, der al­le ih­re Klei­der hat. Um sie zu­rück ­zu ­bekommen, müs­sen sie sechs Din­ge aus ver­schie­de­nen Län­dern in ganz Eu­ro­pa sam­meln.

„Was sol­len wir für un­se­ren ge­hei­men Freund kau­fen?” - fragt Drop­py.

„Ich den­ke, es wä­re ei­ne gu­te Idee, et­was Ty­pi­sches aus je­dem Land zu kau­fen.” - schlägt Drop­po vor.

„Was meinst du? Wie wä­re es mit ei­nem spa­ni­schen Fä­cher? Er ge­hört zu dem be­rühm­ten spa­ni­schen Tanz - dem Fla­men­co.”

„Ei­ne wun­der­ba­re Idee! Ok, lass uns ei­nen kau­fen.”

Ei­ne Stun­de spä­ter ...

„Es ist schön, dass wir un­ser ers­tes Ob­jekt ha­ben. Jetzt soll­ten wir nach Po­len rei­sen.” - sagt Drop­py.

„Lass uns mit dem Zug fah­ren.” - schlägt Drop­po vor.

Sud­denly Droppy re­ceives a text mes­sage. It’s from a secret friend that has got all their clothes. To get them back they have to col­lect six ob­jects from dif­fer­ent coun­tries around Europe.

“What shall we buy for our secret friend?” - asks Droppy.

“I think it would be a good idea to buy something typ­ic­al from each coun­try.” - pro­poses Droppo.

“What do you sug­gest? How about a Span­ish fan? It is as­so­ci­ated with fam­ous Span­ish dance - fla­menco.”

“What a won­der­ful idea! Ok, let’s buy one.”

After an hour …

“It’s nice that we have our first ob­ject. Now, we are sup­posed to go to Po­land.” - says Droppy.

“Let’s go by train.” - pro­poses Droppo.

Drop­py und Drop­po ge­hen zum Bahn­hof. Sie kau­fen die Ti­ckets.

„Ich bin so auf­ge­regt über un­se­re Wei­ter­rei­se.” - sagt Drop­py.

„Ja. Ich ha­be ge­hört, dass Po­len wirk­lich toll ist.”

„Und die Leu­te sind sehr nett und gast­freund­lich.”

„Wir müs­sen uns be­ei­len. Los, schick dich, Drop­po!”

„Ich mach ja schon, Drop­py!”

Um 15 Uhr ver­lässt der Zug den Bahn­hof und die Jun­gen rei­sen nach Po­len.

Droppy and Droppo go to the train sta­tion. They buy the tick­ets.

“I am so ex­cited about our next jour­ney.” - says Droppy.

“Yes. I heard that Po­land is really amaz­ing.”

“And people are very friendly and hos­pit­able.”

“We need to hurry. Go go go Droppo!”

“Yes Droppy.”

At 3 p.m. the train leaves the sta­tion and the boys travel to Po­land.
