Bei 1 Grad und Schnee geht es um 8.15 Uhr in Bo­bin­gen los. Der Ab­schied von den El­tern fällt den Kin­dern gar nicht mal so schwer, die Vor­freu­de auf ei­ne Wo­che Zy­pern und das Wie­der­se­hen mit den Gast­kin­dern über­wiegt. So ist der Flug (für man­che der ers­te in ih­rem Le­ben!) ziem­lich auf­re­gend, aber gleich­zei­tig auch ent­spannt.

   At 1 degree and snow we start at 8:15 in Bobingen. Farewell to the parents is not that difficult for the children, the anticipation of a week in Cyprus and meeting again with the guest children outweigh. So the flight (for some the first in her life!) is pretty exciting, but at the same time relaxed.

In Lar­naca an­ge­kom­men, wer­den wir di­rekt vom Ta­xi ab­ge­holt, und ein­ein­halb Stun­de spä­ter sind wir schon in Pa­phos.

Mit ei­ner Stun­de Zeit­ver­schie­bung wird es zwar schon schnell dun­kel, aber für ei­ni­ge ers­te Ein­drü­cke von Zy­pern reicht es al­le­mal.		   Arrived in Larnaca, we are picked up directly by the taxi, and one and a half hour later we are already in Paphos.
With an hour's time difference, it is already getting dark, but for some first impressions of Cyprus, it is enough.
Die herz­li­che Be­grü­ßung der Gast­fa­mi­li­en lässt dann al­le Un­si­cher­hei­ten ver­flie­gen, die Wie­der­se­hens­freu­de ist rie­sig.   The warm welcome of the host families lets all uncertainties go by, the joy of meeting each other again is really great.
Mü­de von der Rei­se aber mit ei­nem gu­ten Ge­fühl und Er­war­tun­gen an die Wo­che geht es schließ­lich für die Kin­der in ihr neu­es „Zu­hau­se“.   Tired of the journey but with a good feeling and expectations for the week, the kids are finally ready for their new "home".
Wir Leh­rer be­zie­hen der­weil un­se­re Ho­tel­zim­mer und tref­fen dann die Kol­le­gin­nen und Kol­le­gen der an­de­ren Pro­jekt­schu­len – leider mit ei­ner Aus­nah­me:   Meanwhile, we teachers move into our hotel rooms and then meet the colleagues of the other project schools - unfortunately with one exception:
Un­se­rer Freun­de aus Po­len wer­den erst am Mon­tag in al­ler Früh an­kom­men: Ihr Flug ging über Kiew, und da kommt man oh­ne Rei­se­päs­se halt nicht rein bzw. durch ...   Our friends from Poland will not arrive until early in the morning on Monday: their flight went over Kiev, and there you can not get in without passports ...
